Once the hydraSense® solution is ready, it is sterilized and poured into bottles under pressure. The ready-to-use bottles are then sealed with an exclusive SteriFlo® dispensing system.

The system’s one-way valve preserves the solution’s sterility by preventing the counterflow of mucus or other foreign matter back into the bottle. So you can be sure the solution is sterile, even after repeated use.

Assembly of the Steriflo® dispensing system

	A flexible case is compressed and placed in a latex pocket.		The latex pocket is placed inside a rubber jacket to further compress the pocket. The system is then placed in a plastic bottle.
	Sterile, undiluted seawater is poured into the flexible case under pressure.		The flexible case is sealed with a one-way valve. When you press down on the nozzle, the flexible case decompresses and releases sterile seawater.

The seawater never comes in contact with the latex.

Home-made saline nasal drops maintain their sterility like hydraSense®.

Specially designed to fit the shape of nostrils of all ages, the detachable and washable nozzle helps effectively distribute the solution throughout the nasal cavities and prevent damage to the delicate nasal tissues.

The nozzle comes in different spray and mist strengths to adapt to every size of nose, as well as sensitivity levels. Strength is determined by the angle width of the stream. The larger the angle, the gentler the stream. The smaller the angle, the stronger the stream.

The design of the SteriFlo® nozzle is particularly gentle for babies as their mucus membranes are still very fragile.

Home-prepared saline nasal washes require preparation and can be messy. However, hydraSense® requires no mixing, preparation or boiling of water. Instead, the natural-source nasal wash is ready to use whenever you need it.

The nasal sprays are particularly easy to use on children as they can be used regardless of the position of the bottle. Plus, the removable nozzle allows for quick cleaning after each use.

Ideal for newborns, they’re also a convenient alternative to the isotonic hydraSense® nasal sprays for family members who prefer nasal drops or are on the go.

When you’re not using it, hydraSense® should be stored in the fridge.
